Lei Jun

Founder, Chairman and CEO

Lei Jun, born in December 1969, received a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Wuhan University in July 1991. He is now Xiaomi's founder, executive director, chairman and CEO. Lei Jun is a renowned technology entrepreneur in China. He joined Kingsoft Corporation Limited in 1992 and has held several senior positions, including chairman of the board since July 2011, director of the board at Beijing Kingsoft Office Software, Inc. since December 2011, and chairman of the board at Kingsoft Cloud Holdings Limited since April 2015. In 2000, Lei Jun founded joyo.com, an online retailing platform, which was acquired by Amazon in 2004. Meanwhile, as an angel investor, Lei Jun has also invested in various innovative businesses, including JOYY Inc. and UCWeb.

Lin Bin

Co-Founder and Vice Chairman

Lin Bin, born in February 1968, received a bachelor's degree in Radio Electronics and Engineering from Sun Yat-sen University in July 1990, and an MSc degree from Drexel University in June 1992. He is Xiaomi's co-founder, executive director, and vice chairman, as well as chairman of Xiaomi Foundation Limited in Hong Kong. Lin Bin co-founded Xiaomi with Lei Jun in 2010, serving as president of Xiaomi Corporation until 2019 before he took the role of Xiaomi's vice chairman. Earlier in his career, Lin Bin served as the engineering director at Google between 2006 and 2010. Before that, he worked at Microsoft Corporation from 1995 to 2006 and took on various roles such as software design engineer (SDE), SDE lead, SDE manager, and engineering director. Prior to that, Lin Bin worked as a network engineer at ADP Inc. from 1993 to 1995.

Lu Weibing

Lu Weibing, born in September 1975, graduated from Tsinghua University in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in chemistry and received his EMBA degree from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in 2009. He is Xiaomi's partner and president, and president of the Smartphone Department. Lu Weibing joined Xiaomi in 2019 and has since been responsible for sales support in the China Region and the International Department, as well as work related to the Redmi brand. Before joining Xiaomi, Lu Weibing founded Shenzhen Chenyee Technology Co., Ltd and served as CEO of the company from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, he served as president of Gionee Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen between 2010 and 2017; as general manager of the Overseas Business Department at Beijing Tianyu Communication Equipment Co., Ltd from 2008 to 2010; and as sales general manager of Konka Telecommunications Technology Co., Ltd. from 1998 to 2007.

Liu De

Liu De, born in August 1973, graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design in July 1996, and obtained a master's degree in Mechanical Design and Theory from the same institute in March 2001. In April 2010, he received a master's degree in Industrial Design from Art Center College of Design in the US. He is Xiaomi's co-founder, executive director, and senior vice president, and head of Xiaomi's Leadership Management Department. Liu De joined Xiaomi in 2010. His early responsibilities included managing the smartphone supply chain, industrial design, and ecosystem business. Prior to Xiaomi, Liu De founded and led Rethink Concept between 2007 to 2010, and Beijing Xinfengrui Industrial Design Co., Ltd. between 2003 to 2007. In 2001, he established the Industrial Design Department at University of Science and Technology Beijing, where he served as the dean.

Zeng Xuezhong

Zeng Xuezhong, born in July 1973, obtained a bachelor's degree in physics from Tsinghua University in 1996 and received an EMBA degree from the same institute in 2007. Currently, he is Xiaomi's senior vice president, and president of the International Business Department. Zeng Xuezhong joined Xiaomi in 2020 and was responsible for the R&D and manufacturing of smartphone products as president of the Smartphone Department from 2020 to 2024. Prior to joining Xiaomi, he served as chairman and general manager of HatChip Communications Technology Ltd. from 2019 to 2020, and held various senior management positions at Tsinghua Unigroup, including CEO of UNISOC, president of Unisplendour Corporation Limited, and global executive vice president of Tsinghua Unigroup. From 1996 to 2017, he served as ZTE's executive vice president and CEO of ZTE Terminal, as well as senior vice president of ZTE Corporation and president of ZTE China Region.

Wang Xiaoyan

Wang Xiaoyan, born in February 1974, obtained a bachelor's degree in Physics from Beijing Normal University in 1994, and received an MBA degree from Renmin University of China in 1999. He is Xiaomi's senior vice president and president of the China Region. Wang Xiaoyan joined Xiaomi in 2019 and was in charge of the E-Commerce Department, Sales Operations Department, New Retail Department and Carrier Department of the China Region. He has served as president of the China Region since 2022. Before joining Xiaomi, he created and managed the Xiaolajiao smartphone brand from 2010 to 2019, served as a senior sales manager at Beijing Tianyu Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. from 2006 to 2010, and worked at ZTE from 1999 to 2005.

Alain Lam, born in October 1973, graduated from University of Oxford with a master's degree in Engineering in August 1998. He is Xiaomi's vice president and CFO, and chairman of Airstar Digital Technology. Alain joined Xiaomi in 2020 as vice president and CFO of Xiaomi Corporation. Prior to joining Xiaomi, Alain worked at Credit Suisse (Hong Kong) as managing director and head of the Asian Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) Investment Banking Division from 2016 to 2020. From 1997 to 2015, he worked at Morgan Stanley in its London, New York, Menlo Park and Hong Kong offices.

Zhu Dan

Zhu Dan, born in February 1978, received a master's degree in Automatic Control from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 2003. He is Xiaomi's vice president, as well as vice president for R&D in the Smartphone Department. Zhu Dan joined Xiaomi in 2010 and was in charge of the smartphone products. From 2018 to 2021, he held the position of general manager of the Camera Department. Before joining Xiaomi, Zhu Dan worked at Firebrand Technology Co., Ltd. from 2008 to 2010 as the R&D director of the Baseband Department, and at Motorola North Asia Centre from 2003 to 2008 as a research and development engineer.

Qu Heng, born in October 1981, graduated from the Computer Science and Engineering Department of Beihang University in 2003, and obtained a master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2013. He is Xiaomi's vice president and chairman of Xiaomi's Technology Committee. Qu Heng joined Xiaomi in 2010 and served as general manager of the Ecosystem Department from 2018 to 2023. Before joining Xiaomi, he worked at Kingsoft Corporation Limited from 2005 to 2010, and took on various roles such as engineer, development manager and project manager.

Xu Fei

Xu Fei, born in November 1982, graduated from Tsinghua University with a bachelor's degree in Automation in 2005 and a master's degree in Computer Science and Technology in 2007. She currently serves as Xiaomi's vice president and chief marketing officer (CMO). Xu Fei joined Xiaomi in 2010 as an early member. From 2021 to 2024, she served as vice president of the China Region and general manager of the Marketing Department. Prior to joining Xiaomi, Xu Fei worked as a product manager at Google from 2007 to 2010.

Zhang Jianhui

Zhang Jianhui, born in March 1979, graduated from Henan Agricultural University in 2002, and later received an EMBA degree from China Europe International Business School in 2023. She currently serves as Xiaomi's vice president and chairwoman of Xiaomi's Procurement Committee. Zhang Jianhui joined Xiaomi in 2011. She served as vice president of the China Region from 2018 to 2022, as well as the special assistant to CEO and general manager of the Administration Department from 2022 to 2024. Prior to joining Xiaomi, Zhang Jianhui worked at Beijing Kingsoft Software from 2002 to 2011, where she held positions including district manager, regional manager, and channel director.

Liu Wei, born in August 1976, graduated from the School of Economics and Management, China University of Mining and Technology, in 1999. He is Xiaomi's vice president and director of Xiaomi's Executive Office. Liu Wei joined Xiaomi in 2022, serving as the special assistant to CEO and director of the Executive Office. Prior to Xiaomi, he worked at Kingsoft Corporation Limited from 2000 to 2022, holding roles including project manager, HR director, vice president of Seasun Entertainment, and vice president of Kingsoft. In 2016, he became Kingsoft's senior vice president.
